DIY Men’s Thrifted Clothes

Flip your simple, basic thrifted clothes into trendy, hip and unique pieces.

Begin the first craft on a plain pair of jeans, then make sure to covers all the areas you don’t want to paint over with musking tape. Spray paint texture and color with the fabric paint, to spruce up the look just a bit. Allow the paint to dry fully before washing the denim.

On a plain t-shirt, trace a quote or pattern onto a shirt. With a needle and embroidery cotton, hand stitch the pattern. For thicker embroidery sew over each character or word multiple times over.

The next look is for an edgy, experimental and trendy craft that literally requires nothing but a pair of scissors and light assembly. Spread out your thrift sweater and mark a point to start cutting for when you crop the sweater. If the end of the sweater has a thick and chunky bottom, sew it back onto the newly croppped sweater to give it a factory finish. This method of cutting, croppping and pasting also works with hoodies.Flex your washboard abs

Glue down a metal chain to the length of the leg on the side seam of plain, preferably black trousers, to give your formal pants a fun spin that is very simple and rewarding.

Enjoy your crafting and enjoy the fashion playground.
