Improve your overall style without having to go shopping

Clothing, looking stylish and generally building a wardrobe can be rather pricy, but it doesn’t always have to be that way. The existing clothes in your wardrobe are adequate enough to provide you with multiple outfit combinations.

Cuffing your pants -is a cool funky way to add spunk to the bottom half of your outfit. There are a couple of folds you could execute depending on the kind of look you are going for. The simple roll is a simple turn over that exposes the bottom seam of your pants. The tuck and roll is as simple as it sounds and I highly recommend it for wider leg pants as it creates an instant fitted look. Finally wide cuffing usually looks best with wide leg pants especially jeans and the wide cuff goes well with western boots and sometimes sneakers.

Sleeves- Rolling up your sleeves instantly adds a tapered and more masculine touch to your overall outfit. For the first look we have a plain t-shirt, plain black pants and sneakers. Loosely tuck in the shirt into the pants then give your sleeves a tapered fold to get a muscle fit. With the second look basically do the same with a formal shirt.

Stylish layering-adding a bunch if different colours and textures from the clothes in your wardrobe will help you come up with new combinations and variations with the clothes you already have. Make sure to always accessorise because accent pieces help elevate the look. Layers will also help keep you warm in the colder months.

The concept is to flip the pieces you already have in your wardrobe. These style tips may not always appeal to everybody, but it really doesn’t hurt to switch it up every once in a while.
